FOREVER LIVING CLEAN 9 DAY 3 TO 7 REVIEW.

I'm almost at the end of the Clean 9 program from Forever Living Products.I had a bit of a downfall in my motivation but i did no such thing as giving up. From day 3 to 9 you are obliged to have 2 shakes a day. One in the morning and one at lunch. As for dinner i could have a low calorie meal +-600 cal (not more). It made me happy indeed, but weirdly enough after those 2 days of hard work it felt like cheating and heaven at the same time.

Also i only had to drink the aloë vera gel 1 time a day in the morning. that indeed made me a very happy girl.
From day 3 you have to work out for 1 hour every day. 30 min in the morning and 30 min in the evening.
Surprisingly the working out went very well. I went for walks with an up speed tempo, running and by Friday i even started the Kayla Itsines workout working mostly on strength and muscles. apparently it is what i needed because my body looks more toned. For meal inspiration it's very simple. low carbs, fresh vegetables and no salt or sauce. which works for me as i'm not really loving sauce and salty foods. You can go from whole wheat tortillas with chicken and vegetables to a pasta/quinoa/rice dish (1 cup) with pesto and chicken and of course your vegetables. For the times i had no inspiration i grabbed my Clean 9 workbook and looked up their recipes. They're easy and quick!

I'm on day 7 now and today i feel fit and healthy. We also went for a big hike today and i did it without any trouble. But what has changed really? On this day i can say with glance and happiness that I've lost 5 kg and dropped down 1 clothing size. Yep, all in 1 week. Within 2 days this Clean 9 program is over. But not for me. I am determined to keep myself going to the point where i want to be. I say yes to a healthy lifestyle and no to eating crappy foods and being lazy. And when most people tell you that you can't, that's the point where you have to show them wrong. I think it's over and done with making excuses for not doing what's healthy for you. but most of all, do it for yourself. Because you're the most important thing that matters in your life. If you're not willing to move your ass, stop smoking or stop drinking yourself in a coma every weekend than you'll be stuck where you are.

Well this far i have to say i recommend this detoxing program for someone who needs a little push and who wants to pull back from bad habits and start over. I'm very happy with myself and with the decision i made to do it and to keep working with the Forever Lite shakes and the Garcinia plus. Day 8 & 9 ahead of me and of we go!

hereby a little word from my motivater and distributor from Forever Living, Stefanie Desimpel.

"Too many people focus on the number on their scale. They should be focusing on the progress they make and most important on how they feel. It's all in your head and without the right mindset you won't achieve your goals. It just doesn't work if your inner devil is constantly bringing you down. The first step in achieving something no matter what the purpose is, is finding yourself in the right vibe, in believing that you can. Quoting the cute Mickey mouse with the big ears that we all loved as a child and still love: "if you can dream it, you can do it". We should go back to our childhood, remembering how we felt. The only concern we had was whether we would pick a pink or a yellow lollipop... Life seemed to be so easy as a child but why? Because we didn't make everything so difficult, we acted with our heart not our heads. The times we act with our head isn't always the things we want. For example your job... At least 70% of the people close to us, dislike their jobs. They go to work and come home as frustrated because they just don't like what they do and don't have the feeling they're going anywhere with it. Why? Well probably because the only thing they do is think. They make good money, their colleagues are kind of nice. They're stuck in their routine. Stuck in a life that they probably would never have if the circumstances were different...the first step in making a change is being changing yourself. Changing your lifestyle, chancing your job or even changing your look. For every decision, you have to jump in the unknown. Will it work? Can i do it? Will i pursue what i want? All the million voices in your head, try to overcome them. Wake up and say to yourself: "If they can do it, so can I.". And try to stick to that thought! It will be hard, it will be tough, it will be a very bumpy ride. But in the end it will be worth it and you'll thank yourself. I hope i can be an inspiration to all of you. Not only in a weight loss journey but also in changing on how you see yourself. In changing how you act and live everyday. On how you treat people. And most important i want to help you to be a happier person than you are today. "

FOREVER LIVING DETOX CLEAN 9 DAY 1&2.

I said to myself on Monday morning at 5 AM. It's really early, the coffee is running and the smell is just delicious. Even though i don't drink it, i want because i know from today i can't have it.
Clean 9 says the box from Forever Living Products made in TX USA.This box promises me that i will be living a healthier life within 9 full days. My friend and also a distributor for Forever Living, Stefanie Desimpel, tried it together with her boyfriend and they've got amazing results. So i why not give it a go?

I received my Clean 9 box on Friday delivered by Kiala (UPS) so it already started to tickle. I couldn't wait to try it! But as i had a full booked Sunday with parties and food it wasn't a good idea. Because it's true, it's not really social to be detoxing and only be able to drink water instead of those delicious wines and tequila beers.

This box contains 2 gallons of Aloe Vera gel, A shaker, A bag of protein in the vanilla taste (chocolate was also available), a box of food supplements and fibers, a measuring tape, a book with instructions, diary, food inspiration and motivational quotes.

Day one.

NOTE TO SELF. DRINK 3L OF WATER A DAY!

Breakfast is going to be hard, the moment  i woke up i realized there was no place for a  small sandwich with nutella. I took my 2 Garcinia plus softgels. These prevent you from feeling hungry and overeating. After 20 minutes waiting, as recommended in the book, i took my Aloe Vera gel in 120ML pure. The tastes is, well, surprisingly weird and i'm not a fan. So much actually i have to drink it with my nose closed so i wouldn't taste it. To finish my "breakfast" i also took my forever Therm tablet which gives me all the vitamins i need for the day. As i felt sometimes hungry; i could have the recommended fruits and vegetables as i wished. so i had a kiwi and 1/4th of a cucumber. At 10AM, I took my little bag of Forever Fiber in a glass of water. The taste is fiber-ish but it tastes good! It keeps me full and satisfied until noon.

You're definitely thinking:"But what about you're energy if you aren't taking in the calories you need?".
Good question. I was feeling really low and unaware at some points but as normal with every diet or life changing food plans.

As my lunch break appeared around the corner i took my garcinia plus soft gels, again. Always 20 min before having a meal. As my lunch was exciting because i would get some calories in my system i smacked the 120 ml Aloe-Vera gel in my tummy and starting making my vanilla shake. And it was so good. Seriously, the full taste of soy milk and vanilla was like heaven. Weird that even after a half a day you appreciate tastes and calories of food. I also had to take my Forever Therm tablet. For my afternoon break i had another kiwi. I missed my Coke Zero like an idiot misses the point. That hard.

At night it's the same routine as breakfast except for the therm tablet. It's kind of poor and isn't exciting at all. I was hungry, i really was but i got myself out of the door and took a walk for 1 whole hour with my boyfriend and our dog. I felt energized and happy, weird without our recommended 2000 kcal a day? I felt good. As an "evening snack" i had to take the Aloe Vera gel again, i hate it. I went to sleep feeling hungry and my tummy was acting out like an enormous male lion. And oh yes i drank my 3L water ;). Goodnight.

 Day 2.

I woke up, surprisingly not hungry and feeling happy. I worked out for 15min before having to start my routine from the day before. I know that normally i may not do this because it comes over as being obsessed but i was sooooooooooo curious to see if the scale had changed. so i did grab it and watched with peeped eyes... -1.3kg. Wow this motivates me so hard. So i did a little happy dance and went of to have my well, breakfast.

All the rest of day 2 is the same as day 1. no changes only more fruits. In the afternoon i felt really weak. i stayed on the couch for the afternoon because i couldn't handle it. After 4 i had some fruits and i felt more energized and it completely changed my mood! What fruits can do. At night we went out for drinks with family and i could only have water but i asked for some citrus just to give it some taste. I went to sleep not feeling hungry comparing to the day before this was an improvement. And i had no desire for a Coke Zero all day, yay!

Oh i'm starting day 3 today i'm not gonna spoil anything or so but i lost 2.5 kg so far.

Enjoy your day ladies! I'll keep you updated on day 3 & 4!

I know, right?

MY IT GIRLS X 7.

Inspiration.

That's what life is all about. We're driven by it and it motivates us. Either way to look better, feel better or just live better.

We look for it in food, celebs, Pinterest any possible media or city. I love to see what drives people, what their inspiration is.

I, for example just love to sit and watch, watch and observe people. The way they dress, the way they talk and the way they behave. I also have my bunch of IT-girls. they inspire me with their clothing, make up and personal style. Never to copy them, but to base my thoughts and choices on it.
Apart from that, never go cloning something your not. Pick something out you see in an outfit and build your own style around it.

Therefor, here, my IT-girls for 2015 and maybe a slightly bit earlier.

Chiara Ferragni.

This fashion blogger, born and raised in Cremona, Italy. Is the founder of the blog "The Blonde Salad" and currently moved to Los Angeles, CA. Owns her own shoe collection and accessories available at www.chiaraferragni.com or simply by the blog of the blonde salad.com.

Her sense of style is impeccable, timeless and sophisticated at the same time. It's a do follow on instagram. She posts the hottest outfits while traveling the world. And oh those bambi eyes will magically make you like her even more. You get to spot her on every big fashion event from Milan to New York. She's really everywhere.

For more of her styles, outfits and just her fabulous life you can hit the follow or simply the like button on Instagram and Facebook.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

British model working for Victoria's Secret born in Plymouth England. With an acting performance in Transformers 3 and being shout out in 2011 by Maxim's "World's most beautiful woman". You know mostly enough. By all those influences the bell rings that this European south England beauty has an amazing sense of style and doesn't hide it. With her make up always being on point she is a hit wonder for inspiration to every girl.

For more outfits and inspiration you can catch her on Instagram.

 Jasmine Sanders.

One of my many make up inspirations is the German born and USA resident, Jasmine Sanders. Her make up is always on point, has the most amazing lips ever and her eyeliners are breathtaking. Also without make up enormously stunning.

You can find her on most social media and on the cover of DIVA magazine in 2013. IT GIRL ALERT.

 Ruby Rose Langenheim.

For most Orange is the new black- watchers this is new. I've been following since her MTV time(before the social media era. When we still watched the MTV music awards on the telly).
With a huge career as an actress, DJ, MTV VJ, Television presenter and recording artist this one hits the button. Perfect as she is and as lesbian and engaged she is always in style. Make up, clothing and hair on track. Her love for tattoo's and artistry is very inspiring and so is her bloody hot Aussie accent. Hot stuff IT GIRL.

Follow-able on Instagram, which is directly linked to her Facebook account to follow her great down to earth life and gorgeous style. The one Lesbian who makes every straight girl doubt herself.

Linda Hallberg.

Linda, make up artist from Sweden and model. Is my biggest make up inspiration of all times. Going from red to white and back to black hair she literally can pull of anything. You ask, you get. She has her own make up blog and website with tutorials on YouTube (spoken in Swedish, unfortunately) she is a make up wonder in Europe.

Follow her on her 2 Instagram-accounts, one for her fashion and style advice the other one for great make up and hair looks! SHE ROCKS!

 Ashley Benson.

Yes, yes ours truly. Ashley Benson. Pretty Little Liars actress born in Long Beach, CA is a style influence to me and i think most girls who watch the show. I have to say that her fashion collection isn't all that great in the first seasons of the show. Blame the stylist not that pretty face! After a while it evolved into her own personal off set style.

Ashley, mostly active on Instagram, is a true reliable add up in your fashion diary! Oh and her make up always looks gorgeous.

Blake Lively-Reynolds.

Well, i admit. I'm a sucker for Blake. This Hollywood, Los Angeles born actress is just breathtaking in whatever she wears. As we all know her as Serena from Gossip Girl she did a lot more then just GG. With being a muse to Karl Lagerfeld and having a love for Chanel she is on lifestyle, looks and make up a huge inspiration to me and others. She's got it all figured out, not to much social media. Keeping baby girl "James" out of the press. I love this! Having such a huge name in the world and not having to be presentable or having to expose herself on the world wide web.

Her outfits and daily whereabouts you can find on her Instagram or every gossip magazine over the world.

What's your inspiration and motivation?

A FAN OF TAN.

Tan tan tan woew!

It's that time of the year again when everyone is heading of to their paradise vacations, eating fabulous foods and seem to be having the time of their lives.

They say that pink skin toned people don't bronze, they burn. I'm sorry but they do unfortunately. It's extremely dangerous to go in the peek hours of sun with a pink skin tone. You definitely will get burned and damage your skin. So factor 50 is obligated. How to recognize a pink skin tone? Take a look at your hands for instance, do they look pale and reddish? Is there always a red undertone no matter what season? Do you burn quickly and go back to being pale after that? There you go, you have your answer.

But there is always a solution to every first world problem...

Tan with gel tanners!

It's great in use, they fond really well with your own skin color and they look really natural!
I have tested some of these lovers in the beginning of the year 2015. As the sun came out i stopped using them as i tan really easy (despite i'm very pale in winter).
But it's a great idea for paler people or when you come back from vacay to make bikini tan lines less visible.

We all remember the scene from the famous TV show "Friends" with Ross getting his fake spray tan on. It was hilarious and I've cried of laughter. But we all got that stage in life where we experimented with fake tan and got to the understanding it is not okay to look like that. No one wants to look like they've rolled in Cheetos.

Here are the products I've been trying out for you since January till 2 weeks ago.

Rodial Brazilian tan in light (Also available in clear for very pale skin and dark for dark skin tones).
I've picked out the light version because i didn't want to look orange that's the simple explanation. It scented with coconut but not to strong. you don't need much of it and it blends in very good. The texture is more gel like so it's not as sticky as the creamy ones.

Dior bronze tanning gel is for my face, it leaves the skin perfect looking, flawless and evened out. it's one of my favorite products year in and out.  Note that with whatever fake tan product you use, you prep your skin to avoid stains. Scrub your skin with a light scrub (can be in your showergel or just a regular bodyscrub) I use Bourjois Dream Scrub shower gel for this. Hydrate your skin with a body oil or your regular cream, for your skin use the day cream that you're used to. Hydration is a must to leave your skin healthy looking and it helps absorb the tanner.

My usual hydration products for summer:

Rituals Shanti Chakra, smells amazing and leaves skin nourished all day long.
Kiehl's ultra facial cream, a whipped gel cream for dehydrated skin. A perfect match for summer.

GIRLS AND BODIES.

Girls and their body.

you know what i mean. Constant shaming and whatever. On big ones, small ones, little ones, curvy ones, round ones, tall ones and all sorts of bodies.

Lately a lot has been going on about this. I mean we can all say that we don't do it, but we do. We constantly shame on other people. Disliking them, bullying them and worst of all to make yourself feel better.

Look i'm all for happy healthy food and lifestyles and such as. And i really appreciate it if that is what your life is about. But that does not give you the right or place to start hating on others who do not find that the most important thing in life.

I, for example. I try to eat my vegetables everyday and my 2 to 3 pieces of fruit every day. But then i find myself enjoying a piece of cheesecake or whatever and there's always this feeling i get that i shouldn't be doing that. Because society doesn't want me to and the people being brainwashed by society, either.

And what about that "bikini body ready" subject? I get that you want to look good in a bikini. Everyone has the right to look good in a bikini. It's just a matter of choosing the right one for the right body. So also i think that people who are bigger don't need to get respect or being honored for wearing a bathing suit. It's a normal thing in life and if it was for our famous painter Peter Paul Rubens, we walked around town in bathing suits. For him preferably, naked.

My thoughts. Was Mother Theresa constantly picking on herself about what she ate? Is Queen Elisabeth II hating on her cook because he used a rich butter to bake her glorious steak? Do you think that Billie Holiday cared about what she filled her stomach with after singing at Blue Note? What Marilyn Monroe would think if she ate at a fancy restaurant? I honestly don't think so.

Here are some thoughts, GIF wise. You know to amuse you.

Keep on telling that to yourself whenever you are feeling like it. You can't tell yourself enough.

"Should you be eating that?" your new natural response is... throw them some real falseness.

Want to order something online? Good for you. Use your imagination on how it's going to look on you. returns are always free.

When someone says something you wear isn't really flattering your body.
And as for the being hungry part. It's ok to have an appetite. It's still what keeps you alive.
FRIES BEFORE GUYS. When meeting up with your girlfriends talking about your boyfriends.

When you get to a store and they don't have the size you need because you have the most common size ever and it's not coming back in store. "I KNEW I HAD TO COME YESTERDAY!"

Kisses.

YOUR SKIN IS WORTH CARING FOR.

All my life I've been put to the test with my skin. I can't seem to keep track of all the products i have ever bought in my days. I tried so much. And even tough i have a very sensitive and dry skin it does gets oily and sticky in some spots.

Do i hate my skin for that? Well , meh. Don't really know. It does get nerve-wrecking from time to time but i know there are far more worse skins than mine. I think that my bathroom and mirror probably saw every product possible and saw me curse every product as well.

I've been given the chance to try a relaunched product from the precious and prestigious brand Avène.
I was so stoked and happy! I finally get to try something i have never tried before as if i don't really believe in second chances.

LOTION MICELLAIRE.

That's right. Written right there in caps lock. I have to admit that at first i was kind of skeptic about this. How is it possible that some water is going to remove all my make-up? Like seriously? Until i used it. No really i mean it is so surprising how this fresh water removes my make-up, leaves me no sticky feeling and keeps me hydrated!

I've been using it since a couple of weeks now and i have to say that i see some progress on my skin. My flaky nose is gone with the loose skin, redness has been reduced on my cheeks. And most important of all it doesn't feel like i'm planning an attack on my skin. It doesn't feel stripped nor dry.

But what does it do, really?

  • Easy, active cells removes your make-up and cleans your skin.
  • It is extra hydrating that keeps the hydration within your pores and skin preventing your skin from being dry.
  • It is also ultra softening due to thermal water from Avène.
  • The product is also super skin friendly it has the same chemical composition as the hydrolipid from the skin with a pH 5,5.

So long story short! Use this mind blowing product without water and straight on a cotton pad. It doesn't irritates the eyes. He'll remove all the make-up you desired to wear that day even yes yes, if it's waterproof! This Lover contains no parabens nor phenoxyethanol which is what keeps your skin healthy!

On a scale from 1 to 10 i'd say i give this product a 9/10. And i'm not exaggerating. I would definitely buy this product again.

SPECIAL THANKS TO AVENE BELGIUM.

Enjoy your day, lovies!

PROBLEMS ONLY LONG HAIRED PEOPLE WILL UNDERSTAND.

We know them. The mixed feelings, the troubles.

All though we give it so much love and affection it always turns out to not love you back.

LONG HAIR.

It's annoying, lifeless and gets greasy so fast. But despite all the things we hate about the hair, we cannot cut it off. never.

Very short story, a bunch of feelings we all share but we never speak about with each other. Enjoy.

The moment when you have an extremely bad hair day. You see someone with that effortless hairdo that shines from here to Tokyo and yours just looks like potential crap. To hell with that.

You know the moments you lay on the couch with your boyfriend and this happens. He makes a move and it feels like he's ripping off your whole hair do. The moment in your life you wish you were wearing a wig. IT HURTS SO BAD! It feels like ripping out your brains. Or when it gets stuck between your jacket zipper, stuck between your back and the chair or it got stuck in cheap jewelry.

The hours that you can already count up to days that you spend curling your hair. It never stays. You be like leaving the house all happy and curly. When arriving at work and you check yourself in the car you're like where did they go? How am i ever going to get my hours of hard labor back?!

The awful moment when your bangs start to grow out and you're just so annoyed by it you almost seem to be cockeyed. It gets so weird that people around you start to think you have a "Tique nerveux".

Let's keep this one very short. Men with greater hair than you. We never ever speak to them.

Molting. Hair is everywhere. E V E R Y W H E R E. And the people who start to pluck hair of your clothes. We can't help it!

Unclogging the drain from the shower. There is nothing more exciting that pulling out a slimy ball of hair mixed with skin and shower gel. YIKES.

People making fun of your frizzy hair. The moment you want to turn around and go back home because you walked in light rain or humid weather and you forgot a bobby pin or a ribbon. Funny. Very funny.

When at the hair dresser and he tells you you need to cut off all your split ends. You end up asking him:"how much?". And he'd be like:"at least 20 cm". That sucks. BUT NO.

Having curly hair. straightening it for hours to realize that the ends NEVER go down. And you just want to take some scissors and cut that shit off.

Those people who be like:"my hair is so long i can whip it!". No it's not. my whip is so much better than yours god damn it. It doesn't even reach your shoulders.

Lipgloss. A long lost love. Never to be used again. RIP.
It gets so sticky, messy and when you talk, my god.

The moment you realize you overslept and you ran out of dry shampoo. You don't have time because it takes ages to wash, condition, untangle, dry, straighten or curl it. The end of the world is near.

Diner date? Does that ring a bell? Guess it does. The constant check for food and sauce on your hair.

I buy so much hair products in a year i should get sponsored by the brands. Or at least get a 50% discount for being a true customer.

HIPPEST BRUSSELS.

Brussels.

You beautiful lady, our capital and the capital of Europe. You have loads to offer and yet people don't really seem to like you that much. They're often scared to visit you or they just don't trust you for some silly reason.
I love you, i do. I love your shops, your tiny little streets, your little squares and cozy restaurants.

What are people scared of when they think "Brussels"? Do they really think they're going to get kidnapped, beaten up or being harassed? No way! You have so much more in your city center! Of course, i mean you don't have to end up in a bad neighborhood or you might get mugged. It's a very vibrating city, with so many different quarters with different sorts of people and styles. 'Course the architecture often leaves us disappointed, i have to admit.

So if i may convince you, Brussels scared people. There's nothing scary about this city. Giving you a lot of nice places to visit, dine and shop. I hope you lose your heart to it like I did, 4 years ago.
I remember when i started working there, i was at Rue Auguste Orts(Dansaert) and i didn't even know where the big square was. That's worth a laugh, i was completely lost. After all those years i tend to find my way as if i've always been there.

DANSAERT.

With their fine atmosphere and vibe this is practically one of my favorites. It has great shops such as: MAC, Bobbi Brown, Kure, Diesel, Zadig & Voltaire, Sandro, Marc Jacobs and many more... For a little edgy feeling and more sophisticated never seen objects there's Hunting and Collecting. The shop is so great i wander in it every time i go. They have brands such as: Kenzo, Topshop, Carven,... It's concept is based on fashion and lifestyle.

To drink and dine you bum into great spots. Most of them super cozy and trendy. From bars to Japanese restaurants and coffee corners. For great coffee with that little extra OR Coffee is amazeballs. You can get lunch, coffee, cakes and such! This little piece of the city has it all. It's also accessible by metro "Beurs/Bourse" "Sint Katelijne/Saint Catherine". During winter you have a great Christmas market over there. It's really crowded but worth a visit!

THE MAROLLES.

With "Place Du Jeu De Balle" this is a catcher on a Sunday. It's a second hand market where you always find bargains for a pound. With true ancient citizens of Brussels, this place lives to the limits! In summer you can get a drink on a terrace along the small streets and second hand shops. There's this one shop in particular, i often go there and it's just great. It doesn't really have a name though. All is second hand and you buy your stuff by kg/lbs/pounds. I have found great jackets, bandanas and much more. Great stuff for great value! If you head a little bit up from this area you arrive at "Place Du Grand Sablon" with a massive church, great restaurants, Pierre Marcolini, Maison Dandoy, Flamant home interiors, Emporio Armani et oui bien sûr Christian Louboutin.

ANNEESSENS.

Not somewhere to go without your boyfriend or friends but this place is constantly growing. It's still not the safest place to head off alone but while in company a sure do! Around this area you find second hand vinyl stores, great cheap food and nice terraces to get a summery drink. some corners even have cool second hand design furniture shops and book stores. Pêle Mêle, is a book/ action figure/ vinyl shop, it's big, large and there are books in 3 languages. A little further in the street you find yourself "Jour de Fête" it's a retro diner with nice food and drinks! Right next to this place you find a retro coffee bar "Kika Caffee" for nice coffees. You also find a Make Up For Ever shop in this area and great little gadget shops. For some great burgers you can find yourself having lunch or dinner at Houtsiplou on square Rouppe.

LOUISE.

I've worked at square Stéphanie for some time and it's like a little city center on it's own. it has everything. From Zara to Tiffany's & Co, from Abercrombie & Fitch to Tesla. it's a shopping place i carry by heart. I like to ignore the biggest shoppingstreet of all Brussels named "Rue Neuve" it's crowded, dirty and full of pick pockets. This place comparing to Rue Neuve is so calm that it's energizing. People are so classy there that they make you hate whatever it is you're wearing that day. On "Boulevard De Waterloo" You can either window shop or if your wallet lets you, really buy something. I'll go for the window shopping just because i can't. While after shopping and have had some great sushi you can find yourself at night for some partying at Bloody Louis at the Galerie Louise. A little more up you find "Porte de Namur" where you can find some interesting wigs, African fashion and hair products. This place is rather funny and enlightening, people are so sweet over there!
