I'm almost at the end of the Clean 9 program from Forever Living Products.I had a bit of a downfall in my motivation but i did no such thing as giving up. From day 3 to 9 you are obliged to have 2 shakes a day. One in the morning and one at lunch. As for dinner i could have a low calorie meal +-600 cal (not more). It made me happy indeed, but weirdly enough after those 2 days of hard work it felt like cheating and heaven at the same time.
Also i only had to drink the aloë vera gel 1 time a day in the morning. that indeed made me a very happy girl.
From day 3 you have to work out for 1 hour every day. 30 min in the morning and 30 min in the evening.
Surprisingly the working out went very well. I went for walks with an up speed tempo, running and by Friday i even started the Kayla Itsines workout working mostly on strength and muscles. apparently it is what i needed because my body looks more toned. For meal inspiration it's very simple. low carbs, fresh vegetables and no salt or sauce. which works for me as i'm not really loving sauce and salty foods. You can go from whole wheat tortillas with chicken and vegetables to a pasta/quinoa/rice dish (1 cup) with pesto and chicken and of course your vegetables. For the times i had no inspiration i grabbed my Clean 9 workbook and looked up their recipes. They're easy and quick!
Well this far i have to say i recommend this detoxing program for someone who needs a little push and who wants to pull back from bad habits and start over. I'm very happy with myself and with the decision i made to do it and to keep working with the Forever Lite shakes and the Garcinia plus. Day 8 & 9 ahead of me and of we go!
hereby a little word from my motivater and distributor from Forever Living, Stefanie Desimpel.
"Too many people focus on the number on their scale. They should be focusing on the progress they make and most important on how they feel. It's all in your head and without the right mindset you won't achieve your goals. It just doesn't work if your inner devil is constantly bringing you down. The first step in achieving something no matter what the purpose is, is finding yourself in the right vibe, in believing that you can. Quoting the cute Mickey mouse with the big ears that we all loved as a child and still love: "if you can dream it, you can do it". We should go back to our childhood, remembering how we felt. The only concern we had was whether we would pick a pink or a yellow lollipop... Life seemed to be so easy as a child but why? Because we didn't make everything so difficult, we acted with our heart not our heads. The times we act with our head isn't always the things we want. For example your job... At least 70% of the people close to us, dislike their jobs. They go to work and come home as frustrated because they just don't like what they do and don't have the feeling they're going anywhere with it. Why? Well probably because the only thing they do is think. They make good money, their colleagues are kind of nice. They're stuck in their routine. Stuck in a life that they probably would never have if the circumstances were different...the first step in making a change is being changing yourself. Changing your lifestyle, chancing your job or even changing your look. For every decision, you have to jump in the unknown. Will it work? Can i do it? Will i pursue what i want? All the million voices in your head, try to overcome them. Wake up and say to yourself: "If they can do it, so can I.". And try to stick to that thought! It will be hard, it will be tough, it will be a very bumpy ride. But in the end it will be worth it and you'll thank yourself. I hope i can be an inspiration to all of you. Not only in a weight loss journey but also in changing on how you see yourself. In changing how you act and live everyday. On how you treat people. And most important i want to help you to be a happier person than you are today. "
